Men and women alike have trouble removing fat in the love handle and belly region, the reason is, this is the first place fat is stored when you start gaining weight and its the last place the fat comes off when you lose weight.
The leaner you get, the harder it is to lose fat because the body wants to keep those last energy reservers for survival purposes. If you try brute force dieting to get rid of that last bit of fat which is stored in the love handles and over the lower abs, you will end up burning off muscle as well as fat – not what we want! What I’m gonna show you in this video is how to get ripped without burning off muscle by using carb cycling. And when your bodyfat is low enough, the last fat stores are removed and for most people, that is the love handles and over the lower abs. This is not spot fat removal, there is no such thing!
Carb cycling is an amazing fat loss technique, its not a fad diet, its fine tuning of the zig zag diet developed by Dr Fred Hatfield several decades ago but its not for everyone. If you have more than 20lbs to lose, just good old fashioned nutrition and exercise is all thats required to lose weight. Where carb cycling shines is for those who are already fairly lean, those with 2-pack or 4-pack abs who just cant seem to get any leaner. Carb cycling is perfect for this, it helps you go from lean to ripped without loss of muscle.
I’m more ripped now because I have been following my own carb cycling plan! I have been eating *exactly* what the personalize meal planner suggests. I wouldnt suggest my viewers try something unless I had tried it myself to show it works!!!!

Don’t let the TV ads convince you to buy some bulky contraption that will gather dust in your closet, crunches are safe and effective! This video clip shows how to do crunches with varying degrees of difficulty based on your ability. Remember that ab exercises alone will not give you abs! If you have the best abs in the world they will be completely invisible if you are overweight. Aerobic exercise and proper diet are even more important than ab exercises in getting that sought after 6-pack.
Form is very important in crunches, many people do them incorrectly and end up working out their neck or hips more than their abs. Use slow movements and only use the abs. Concentrate on trying to raise your shoulders straight up towards the ceiling. Don’t worry about how many reps you do but focus on using perfect form. No whipping the head around or flapping your arms! This is not a sit-up either, the hips are stationary. Also important is to minimize any tension in the neck, I do this by very lightly supporting my head with my hands or the weight plate
The main reason to workout abs is because strong abs stabilize your lower back and shield you from injury but as a side benefit a 6-pack looks great!

The best way to get a flat stomach is to lose some weight. But you can take a lot of the air out of your spare tire with these anti-bloating tips.
To complete this How-To you will need:

Step 1: Don’t starve yourself!}
Don’t starve yourself! Your body will go into survival mode and hang on to any fat around your midsection for dear life.
Step 2: Replace soda with water
Sip flat water throughout the day. Dehydration and carbonated beverages both cause belly bloat.
Step 3: Avoid trans fats
Limit your intake of foods that contain trans fats, like packaged snacks and stick margarine. Studies have indicated that people who eat a diet high in trans fats are more likely to gain weight — and gain it around their middle — than those who don’t, even if they eat the same number of calories.
Step 4: Give up gum
If you chew gum, stop. It makes you swallow a lot of air, which inflates your belly like a balloon.
Step 5: Eat "good" fats
Eat foods that contain monounsaturated fatty acids, like avocadoes, nuts, and olives. Research indicates that they can help reduce belly fat, so long as they’re eaten in moderation and in place of bad fats and simple carbs, rather than in addition to them.
Step 6: Avoid white food
Stay away from white bread, white rice, and white pasta. They cause the body to retain water, as does another white no-no — salt.
Step 7: Show off
Show off your flat stomach — you’ve earned it!
